Synopsis for "...Bad Cop"
While Taub calls 911, Batman fights Bad Cop. Bad Cop electrocutes him, and Batman falls to his knees. Renee Montoya comes to his rescue and strikes Bad Cop from behind, but Bad Cop merely aims his gun at her. He is stopped, however, by arrival of Robbie Sutton.
Bad Cop tells Sutton he needs to kill him because he can't go back to Arkham Asylum and he has now killed a police trainee, but Sutton insists he needs help. Bad Cop leaves to find someone who will kill him. Batman tells Montoya to "remember today, and use it," before leaving in pursuit.
Mayor Hill demands to know what Jim Gordon is going to do about the national scandal. Gordon leaves that to Hill. He takes his daughter Barbara to an arcade. They are leaving when a stun grenade rolls in front of them.
Bad Cop tells Gordon he is going to kill Barbara and Gordon will kill him in revenge. They fight, and Gordon's gun is knocked aside. Barbara picks it up and aims it at Bad Cop, demanding he let her dad go. Bad Cop tells her to shoot him in the head.
Batman tells Shancoe he used to be a good cop who brought killers to justice and if he forces Barbara to kill him, he will destroy her. Shancoe stands down, and Barbara reveals she isn't holding Gordon's gun. She cut off the fake gun from the Cops 'n' Robbers machine.
Shancoe is returned to Arkham Asylum. Batman looks in to the Joker's cell, and he discovers he has killed two orderlies and escaped.
