Batman #467 is an issue of the series Batman (Volume 1) with a cover date of August, 1991.
Synopsis for "Shadow Box, Part One"
A series of warehouse robberies by the Ghost Dragons gang leads Batman and Robin to wonder whether the Dragons' old leader, Sir Edmund "King Snake" Dorrance, may still be alive. Batman remains skeptical, but nonetheless becomes concerned when sources within Chinatown inform him that the Ghost Dragons' current leader intends to start a gang war and control all of Chinatown.
Several nights later, Batman and Robin attempt to stop the Ghost Dragons from hijacking a federal weapons shipment, but are thwarted when the Dragons shoot down a fire escape to block the Batmobile's path. Robin is left particularly disturbed by the experience, as this time, the Dragons were commanded by Lynx, King Snake's second-in-command. True to Robin's suspicious, Lynx later meets with a very much alive King Snake, who demands to know whether "the boy" is still with Batman.
While Tim shares his insecurities with Alfred, Commissioner Gordon asks Batman to meet him at the city morgue. There, he shows Batman a disturbing message from the Ghost Dragons: a snitch from their ranks, beaten to death, dressed in a makeshift imitation of Robin's costume.
