Synopsis for "Storybook Endings"

Batman and Robin work together to foil a hostage situation at the Schiff Rehabilitation Clinic. Robin misinterprets what he sees and thinks one of the kidnappers is attacking a hostage, but Batman stops him in time because he recognizes the supposed kidnapper as Kevin McNulty, whom he had previously arrested and upon his release had recommended for a job as a councilor there. Batman reminds Robin again that their work is about the victims, not the criminals.

Later, Damian Wayne recounts Batman's history to three boys at the Quake Survivors' Benefit held by the Wayne Foundation. Alfred Pennyworth comes to collect Dick and Damian, and the boys marvel at the sight of the lit Bat-Signal as Batman and Robin go on patrol.
