Batman and Robin are captured by crooks on the scene of a TV program in which they are reenacting the Marty Kirk case. The crooks demand Kirk's release from prison. Batman pleas with the governor for compliance in order to have Kirk lead them to the missing loot from his last crime before being arrested.

Synopsis for "The Return of the Bat-Hound!"
A gang of crooks forces a dog trainer to use his dog to help them commit crimes, but Batman and Robin even the odds by borrowing Ace, the Bat-Hound for their side. The canine detective manages to locate the criminals by following the scent of the other dog and the criminals are finally captured by the Dynamic Duo.
