- All of you are to leave Gotham today. Go on vacation without your masks. Or put your masks on and find other monsters to fight. I don't care what you do. As long as you don't do it here. Bane is stronger than you. He may be stronger than me. Five days. I need five days to save Gotham Girl. And I will save her. But I won't kill you to do it.

Synopsis for "I Am Bane, Part One"
DAY ONE: A shadowy figure jumps the gate to Arkham Asylum. Inside, Batman seems to be talking to Jeremiah Arkham about Psycho-Pirate at the front of his cell. Bronze Tiger, the shadowy figure from earlier, jumps and kicks Batman into the glass just as the Asylum Guard pulls his gun and tries to fire at Batman. The bullet hit Tiger and then the Guard shoots Arkham in the head before Batman and Bronze Tiger take him out. Before the Batman punches the Guard's face he gives a bloody smile. Batman tells Tiger that Arkham is OK because he fainted before the bullet hit him. Bronze Tiger tells Batman about the pain he feels after going off Venom and that Bane is coming to Gotham.
Later, at Batburger, Bruce, Duke, Dick, Jason and Damian are ordering their food when the guy at the register asks for Jokerized fries. Bruce goes to say that Joker is a psycho-maniac who wants to kill us all so he can have a laugh. Duke then tells the guy that he would like the fries normal. At the booth, Damian complains about what Dick orders for him while Jason mocks him and tries to take the toy that came with the meal. Damian yells at Jason for trying to take his Red Hood action figure from the box, which he said earlier that if it was a Red Hood one, he was going to kill someone. Bruce says they should have met in the cave, but Dick says that they're all tired of Alfred's cucumber sandwiches. Bruce agrees but tells them all not to tell Alfred about the remark about his sandwiches. If he finds out, "God help us all".
Bruce tells them that Bane is coming to Gotham. He tells them that it will take five days to reverse what happened to Gotham Girl and that Bane will try anything to get the Pirate back. Duke then asks Dick if Bruce always eats hamburgers with a knife and fork. They soon start to talk about it while Damian throws food at Jason for taking his toy. Bruce yells enough. The Robins then start joking about how they've all been dead before and Duke asks if he'll die. Bruce says no one is going to die, not after Tim. Bruce then says that he doesn't want any of there help and that they should leave Gotham tonight. Bruce leaves, leaving the Robins to decide whether they listen to Batman or not. Duke says he is going to what he says and Dick says under breath "smart kid". Meanwhile, Damian and Jason are arguing again and don't hear any of it.
On the roof of GCPD, Batman sees the Bat-Signal but meets not Gordon, but Catwoman. Batman tells her she needs to leave now, but she refuses. Gordon then comes onto the roof and tries to arrest Catwoman but she leaves. Gordon tells Batman that he could've helped.
At Wayne Manor, Bruce says that he's taking Gotham Girl for her first session tonight. He says he "may" need Alfred's help and he makes a big deal out of it, saying that he must be deaf and is being absurd to suggest what he hears. When they exit the elevator to the Batcave, Gotham Girl starts screaming and Bruce and Alfred are shocked to see Nightwing, Robin and Red Hood hung by their necks in the Batcave with "I AM BANE" written in blood on their bodies.
