Synopsis for "The Search for Halo"

Halo has been taken to the Aurakles dimension, where they will attempt to separate her human body from the energy being. Meanwhile, Batman and the Outsiders travel to Japan in order to retrieve the ancient ritual that could summon the souls of the victims slain by the Soultaker Sword. With the ritual, Katana summons the being of the Aurakle which was slain during their previous encounter in the destroyed Justice League Satellite. As a reincarnated being, the Aurakle is forced to obey Katana's command and she forces the light being to transport them all to the Aurakle dimension.

The Outsiders arrive at the strange dimension and they confront all the other Aurakles, who are trying to harm Halo. At first, their efforts seem futile, but after a brief struggle, they manage to get the upper hand in the fight. Halo is then released by Black Lightning and then, Metamorpho transforms himself into a metallic cable, capable of conducting electric energy. As Metamorpho goes through the Aurakles, Black Lightning uses his powers to charge the cable and create an electric shock to defeat the Aurakles.

Having lost the fight, the Aurakles are forced to let them leave, even though their quest for completing the unity has been thwarted. Back in the Wayne Foundation penthouse, Batman and the Outsiders are happy to become a full team once again, but Halo is still shocked after learning her origins and decides to spend some time alone to organize her thoughts.
