Batman and the Outsiders (Volume 2) is an ongoing series that began in December, 2007, after Outsiders (Volume 3) ended. It began a complete rebooting of the team under the new jurisdiction of Batman (after Nightwing abandoned his position as team leader), containing a completely new team membership he had determined during Outsiders: Five of a Kind. The series lasted for fourteen issues before continuing as Outsiders (Volume 4). It was then retitled again for the final issue of the series.
