Synopsis for "Lesser Gods, Finale"
Jefferson calls Bruce to tell him the team has accomplished its mission in Khadym, recovering Sofia Ramos, but that they will take her to Gotham only if Bruce tells him what he wants to do with her. Promising Jefferson he will, the conversation continues with Black Lightning asking how are the two members of his team remained home, Cassandra Cain and Duke Thomas.
Batman doesn't know they are fighting Ishmael, a killer serving Ra's al Ghul: he tells them he must show them a truth hidden by their mentor, and makes both Cass and Duke follow him. Getting to his destination, he regroups with his ally, Lady Shiva, mother of Cassandra. The two show her and Duke that Bruce secretly keeps Karma imprisoned in this secret location, without telling them anything, even as he knows how Duke feels about the criminal. At the sight of her mother, Cassandra is blind with rage: the two confront one another, but Shiva has the upper-hand. Meanwhile, Ishmael uses his power on Duke, suggesting he's performing some kind of transformation on him.
In the end, while Cassandra gets her senses back and starts to blame herself for what happened, Shiva communicates with Ra's, as she accomplished as always her task: telling him that she will be the one to remold Cassandra, as that was part of their agreement, Ra's tells her that he will take Duke, now afraid of his light, and teach him the way of darkness. Cassandra and Duke will become children of the Demon, and they will destroy the Bat once and for all.
