Synopsis for "A League of Their Own, Part 1"
After Kaliber revealed himself to be a double agent working for Ra's al Ghul, the plane where Kaliber himself, alongside Black Lightning, Katana and Sofia Ramos is going to crash inside Gotham City. Kaliber's plan is to die with the other three, allowing the forces of the Demon to collect all four bodies and resurrect all the passengers as loyal servants. Sofia prevents it, as she realizes she does not want to live the life following Ra's al Ghul's philosophy, and hits Kaliber with the two of them catapulted out of the plane.
While Bruce prepares to save Gotham from the crash, Jefferson uses his power in a way he's never done before: he generates enough energy to destroy the plane, making it collapse in different pieces that do not present a threat to the city. He and Katana are safe and Bruce retrieves Sofia from the water. Katana then brings her to the Bat-Cave to start her rehabilitation. Jefferson and Bruce talk about Bruce's recent loss, the death of his longtime tutor Alfred Pennyworth.
Meanwhile, Cassandra and Duke are discussing about Duke's new abilities, consequences of the power of Ishmael who transformed Duke's meta-abilities: now he's able to absorb and redistribute shadow, a power opposite to the one he had before. As they face their problems, Ra's al Ghul discusses with Lady Shiva about his plan to destroy the Outsiders and their faith in the Bat, turning them against him: after changing the power of Duke and making Cassandra encounter her mother once again, the Demon placed a bomb inside Jefferson's school in Metropolis.
