Synopsis for "The Battle for Blüdhaven, Part 3"

The Atomic Knights are discovered in the laboratory where S.H.A.D.E. is experimenting on innocent metahuman civilians from Blüdhaven. They are forced to flee. Outside the wall, Firebrand hears the conflict is about to head into the city when the Teen Titans appear. They stop Firebrand and argue with the refugees. The Titans merely want to avoid any unnecessary violence in what they believe is a very difficult situation. Firebrand argues that they need to find out what is going on in the city. The refugees shame the Titans saying that they are not doing enough to get them back into the city. Meanwhile, it is revealed that a man who calls himself the Black Baron is functioning within Blüdhaven and is raising an army of those trapped within the wall. His plan is to use his army to take control of Blüdhaven and make it an independent state called Bludnation. Meanwhile, it is revealed that the Atomic Knights are not merely a team of six heroes. On the contrary, a mysterious organization has created over one hundred Atomic Knights in a secret facility under Blüdhaven. Their ultimate goals are unrevealed, but they want to steal Captain Atom from S.H.A.D.E. Their leader, a scientist, tasks Atomic Knight (Gardner Grayle) with this. Later, the Teen Titans, Firebrand, and the Monolith get into Blüdhaven through the swamps surrounding one part of the city. They encounter some civilians trapped within the wall who tell them that Freedom's Ring and S.H.A.D.E. are capturing civilians for an unknown purpose. Back at S.H.A.D.E. headquarters, Father Time learns that the Astronaut Fetus has completed its growth cycle. The Fetus tells him that he agrees with his plan to bring order to the chaos of Blüdhaven. He has learned of this by using his powerful mental powers, which he offers to use to help Father Time. Father Time agrees. The Fetus takes the name the Replicant. The team of super-powered S.H.A.D.E. agents recently formed by Father Time confronts and defeats a group of Atomic Knights. However, other Atomic Knights attack the S.H.A.D.E. base attempting to rescue Captain Atom.
