Beachrock is a small fishing village located on the Atlantic Coast. It was the site of the first, and only, attack by The Trench. Aquaman and Mera responded to a request from Deputy Wilson.

History

Beachrock is a small fishing village located on the Atlantic Coast. It was the site of the first, and only, attack by The Trench. Aquaman and Mera responded to a request from Deputy Wilson.

When Aquaman and Mera arrived in Beachrock, they found the Navy and Coast Guard investigating the attack. Many of the town's residents were dead or missing. The Trench, having taken refuge in a fishing boat, launched a second attack. They were driven back into the ocean by Aquaman, Mera, and the troops.

Aquaman took one of the Trench bodies to Dr. Stephen Shin, asking him to examine the remains. With Shin's advice, Aquaman and Mera were able to locate the home of the Trench. Shin believes the missing residents were taken to the Trench's home as food.

After a short confrontation, Aquaman and Mera were able to rescue most of the missing residents, returning them to Beachrock. Aquaman was also able to bury the Trench by using lava from a volcanic vent.
