Ben Turner. The Bronze Tiger. Two counts manslaughter. Twenty years without parole. Suffers from delusions of being a graduate of the..."League of Assassins." Also thinks he's an agent of several intel services. All of which deny these claims.

DC Rebirth

Bronze Tiger was joined in battle against a group of ninjas by Batman, who had come to him for information on KGBeast. With reluctance over the danger he posed, the Tiger directed him to Kanto, the Beast's only living instructor.[4] He was later among the assassins gathered in Metropolis by the criminal Mister X for his announcement of a three-million-dollar contract on local reporter Jimmy Olsen,[5] and was forced by the global polar vortex unleashed by the ancient Frost King to seek refuge in the nation of Kahndaq. He joined its ruler, Black Adam, and a number of supervillains, in rescuing the superhero the Flash from the Frost King's forces.[6]

Infinite Frontier

The Tiger was unfairly defeated by the Blue Shrike in a qualifying bout for the League of Lazarus' fighting tournament,[7] and a sample of his DNA came into the possession of the Network, a criminal organization planning to create genetically-spliced supervillains under their own control.[8]

While the Justice League missing and much of the rest of the superheroic community occupied by a crisis, Bronze Tiger was recruited into Task Force XX, a team gathered by the billionaire Luke Fox to destroy a sample of the Apokoliptian Element X contained within the abandoned Justice League Watchtower on the Earth's Moon. Following an extended pursuit, the Tiger and Task Force XX retrieved prospective team member Harley Quinn, and set out in a spacecraft of Fox's design.[9] At the Watchtower, the element proved sentient, assimilated the Tiger's teammates Lashina and Solomon Grundy, and escaped to Earth via Justice League Teleporter.[2] Following their target, the rest of their team fought their way through United States Army forces under its control[10] and tracked it to Blackgate Penitentiary, where the Tiger and Fox were nearly overcome by possessed inmates until Task Force XX member Killer Frost absorbed the creature's life force, ending the threat.[11]

One Christmas, Turner reconnected with Mari McCabe. At his suggestion of a more whimsical gift, she gave him a hand-carved bracelet inspired by their mutual love of poetry, while he gave her a scarf—unbeknownst to him, a previously-considered-but-rejected gift from her to him.[3]
