History

Benny Broot was a racketeer who discovered that he was descended from robber baron Hugo de Broot. Obsession with his ancestor led him to act as a modern Robber Baron and even to believing himself to be his ancestor. After battling Robin, Broot was shot dead by an officer of the Gotham City Police Department.
