Berckmann, was a soldier in the black ops unit Team 7 during the 1970's.

History

Miles Craven of I.O. exposed them to the radioactive Gen-Factor during a routine mission. This caused the entire team to develop super-powers. Berckmann was unable to handle the stress, and gouged out his own eyes. Later he died while receiving medical care.
