- Big Thunder was created by Grant Morrison and Yanick Paquette, first appearing in Seven Soldiers: Bulleteer #3. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Big Thunder first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Green Lanterns #40 by Tim Seeley and Barnaby Bagenda.
