As part of a test of the almost-adult Superboy, his Kryptonian Robot Teacher secretly arranged for a small group of Bigfoot creatures to escape from a traveling circus and provoked one into attacking the Boy of Steel's girlfriend. [1]

The Super Friends encountered a group of the creatures, who were revealed to be aliens of the Novarian race from the planet Nova. [2]
