Billy Batson is Shazam, Earth's mightiest mortal with the power to transform from a normal kid into a full-grown superhero by speaking his name.

History

After the death of his parents when he was a baby, Billy Batson was adopted by the Vasquez family. When he was a little bit older, he discovered the Wizard who thought Billy was special and gifted him the powers of Shazam. With his new powers, Billy would become a superhero, using his magic word as his name.
