Binks and Bobby were able to witness many momentous events of history by looking into the Magic Crystal of History.
History
Ancient Egypt
Binks and her friend Bobby were seeking shelter from a storm when they entered a seemingly haunted house. Inside, they found the Magic Crystal of History, which transported them to ancient Egypt.[1]
In Egypt, the children quickly gained the enmity of the high priest, who was conspiring against Pharaoh Cheops. Bobby saved the Pharaoh from being assassinated, and the conspiracy was foiled after an unsuccessful murder attempt against the children.[2]
The Magic Crystal of History then sent Bobby and Binks 1000 year later to meet Pharaoh Tutankhemun. His palace was being besieged by the army of the priests of Amun-Ra, and the children were sent on a dangerous mission to bring in reinforcements from the Pharaoh's brother, which they did.[3]
Later "Adventures"
After their adventures in Egypt, the children's adventures became much tamer, and they were relegated to witnessing historical events, rather than directly participating in them.[4]
Notes
- This version of Binks, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
- It's unknown if Binks is her first name, her last name, or some sort of nickname.
- It is assumed but not confirmed that Bobby and Binks were siblings.
