Synopsis for "Deep Into Darkness"
The Toa Mata continue their search for the masks of power. However, Gali runs into trouble on her way in the waters of Le-Wahi, but is saved by Lewa. Lewa scolds her to be more carful and then swings away into the jungle. Afterwords, Gali dives back into the water where she encounters a Tarakava. She swiftly defeats it by trapping it in a cave and covering the entrance with boulders.
Meanwhile, Lewa finds himself having to leave his comfort zone from above in the trees to swim to the depths of a pond to retrieve a mask of power. However, a big group of seaweed comes to life and tangles around him. Lewa almost drowns to death but eventually brakes free with pure strength. Soon after he finds a Kakama Mata.
Since then, Gali had made it far from the Le-Wahi depths and is now climbing up a mountain where she finds a Miru Mata. The cliff collapses but she manages to put on the mask of levitation to save herself. However, after she lands she finds herself in front of Nui-Jagas and Lewa who is still in Le-Wahi and not paying attention to his surroundings gets hit off a vine by a Nui-Rama and falls to the fangs of a Muaka.
