Synopsis for "The Bohrok Awake"

The Toa Mata had thought they had beaten Makuta once and for all and that they saved Mata Nui but not long after their victory they hear trees falling, rivers boiling away, and mountians crumbling. A badly injured Mortoran then crawls out of the jungle into the clearing and warns them of the "Bohrok."

The Toa don't know what to make of this and rush to Ta-Koro which is being attacked by the Bohrok. The Toa fight back but realize nothing they do works to stop them. Eventually though, the Bohrok leave except for one that has fallen to the ground. Soon the Toa realize with the help of Turaga Vakama that the Krana behind the plating on a Bohrok's heads controls the robotic insects and if the Krana gets damaged or removed the Bohrok would be defeated. Vakama also informs them that the Bohrok were made to destroy the island of Mata Nui one day in the far future, but Makuta prematurely awoken them. To defeat this new menace and save the island of Mata Nui the Toa Mata need to each collect eight Krana from each of the six species of Bohrok to unlock a valuable secret that would help defeat them.

The Toa then rush to the other villages to defend them from the Bohrok threat but back in Le-Koro Lewa finds out that he is all too late as Turaga Matau and everyone else now wore a Krana instead of their Kanohi mask and stood at the Bohrok's side.
