Synopsis for "Ladies' Choice"
In Katchik 9-9 Archer Braun has a serious problem with a fellow criminal named Serge who is very angry with Braun because he did not deliver the promised amount of American money in exchange for letting him participate in Afghan drug businesses. Serge orders Lady Shiva to kill both Braun and Black Canary, but Lady Shiva objects. She is more interested in testing Black Canary's combat skills. But Braun steps in and actually is able to deflect all of Lady Shiva's blows directed at him. Oracle listens carefully and comes to the conclusion that Braun must have some kind of superhuman ability. After that, Braun takes Dinah into a holding cell. She wants to attack him, but again Braun shows an uncanny ability to predict all her moves.
Meanwhile, Huntress and Catwoman are already in Kazakhstan and on their way to Katchik 9-9. But the plastic eating virus that was set free in Katchik is still active and destroys parts of their car's engine leading to a breakdown. So their make their way to the city on foot. Directed by Oracle they start to investigate the city. Oracle also tells them that Braun was subject to experiments by the KGB. They gave him precognitive abilities which explains his combat skills. He just is able to anticipate his opponent's moves by reading his or her thoughts.
Finally, the women reach Dinah's cell, but she has already fled. Instead, they find Braun and Lady Shiva which instantly leads to a fight. Catwoman's chances against Lady Shiva are low and she takes the fight outside, so Huntress is left in the cell with Archer Braun. But due to his psychic abilities Huntress is totally outmatched at first. But then Oracle helps her, giving Huntress commands while Helena clears her mind so that Braun is not able to foresee her moves. This way Huntress beats her adversary. But against Oracles pleas she makes no effort to rescue Braun from the fire that had started during the fight. Outside, Huntress reunites with Catwoman and Black Canary who together were able to hold Lady Shiva back. They do not see any reason to prolong the fight and ride out of the city ...
