Synopsis for "The Hateful"
En route to a vacation, but thanks to a booking mistake by Oracle, Black Canary finds herself caught in the crossfire of Krasny attacks on the country of Transbelvia. She helps some local residents, especially kids, taking refuge in a subway station. Down there Dinah gets to know a woman named V'Rinia who tells her how this war between neighboring countries is about a centuries old rift, whose exact reason nobody seems to remember anymore. Then Dinah watches how a mother with two kids asks a man with a full bag to share some of his food. The man shows no interest, so a little later Dinah approaches the man and shoves him. A newspaper falling out of his bag indicates he is a Krasny and immediately he gets attacked by the locals. Now Dinah wants to protect the man, but she is overwhelmed and has to watch how V'Rinia kills the man using a brick.
Oracle had radio contact with Canary the whole time and now tells her that the fighting has stopped and she is clear to move on. Oracle also says that Jason Bard wants to meet her, but she is not ready yet.
Meanwhile, Blockbuster, the crime lord of Bludhaven, is enraged by the amount of money Oracle has siphoned off from his bank accounts!
