Synopsis for "The Courtship"
Dinah swims around Ra's boat in the Caribbean, Ra's kills a moray eel to protect her, then voices his concern when they return to his boat. He tells her that this area used to be inhabited by Toltec cultists, which he both created over 700 years ago, and then destroyed 500 years ago (a fact he witholds from Dinah). They dress for dinner, and Talia joins the couple. Ra's tells Dinah he wishes to marry her and father a son, causing her to leave in distress. He follows her, and she reveals that she cannot have children, but he says he can make her whole again, which again distresses her, and she rushes away yet again. Talia attacks Ra's, in jealousy for his desire for a son after her lifetime of service.
Through her cabin door, Ra's tells her there is much about him she does not know, including the power to heal her childbearing ability, which causes her a darker suspicion.
Talia reconciles with Ra's, and he assures her that she will never be replaced. They muse about Bane's war with Ra's, and again ask whether Dinah will pose a similar threat.
That night, Dinah sneaks around the boat, following Ra's men through the water, finding Ra's himself at the Lazarus Pit, where he gloats about his plan to heal her in its chemicals. She is captured by Ubu and brought before Ra's, who tells of all the blood he spilt to protect the secret of this Pit from the world. She rejects him and their relationship, causing him to say she cannot leave with his secrets alive.
In the meantime, Babs briefs four agents on her rescue mission for Dinah - Blue Beetle, Power Girl, Milita, and Honey.
