Synopsis for "The Shout"

Outside the temple, Milita and Power Girl reel under the sonic assault of the Canary Cry, while inside Babs tries to reason with her friend. Dinah, in the grip of Pit madness, attacks her friends, and Babs is forced to knock her out with an electric shock. Babs and Beetle rush out of the collapsing temple, and Babs orders Power Girl and Militia to stop the escaping Ra’s and Talia. Militia complies, sinking the boat, but Power Girl resists, because of her anger at Oracle. Meanwhile, Ra’s and Talia actually escape aboard a secret submarine, Ra’s mourning the loss of his love, Dinah.

Beetle and Babs barely make it outside, meeting Militia and Power Girl. Babs conceals her identity, claiming to be an employee of Oracle, and Militia says she should get a suit like his, which replaces his missing limbs, but Babs rejects his offer. Admiring her spirit, Militia leaves, reminding Babs to make sure to pay him. Power Girl leaves bitterly, despite Babs’ attempt to reconcile, and Beetle and Babs take the still unconscious Dinah aboard the Bug to fly home.

A week later, a recovered Dinah asks why she hasn’t gotten a new mission. This sets off an argument between the two, as Babs’s worries about Dinah’s mental state after all the tragic adventures she’s been on, and Dinah thanks Babs for saving her life, and giving up the chance to walk again. They embrace, just as Nightwing arrives. Dinah senses the romantic tension, and leaves, and Babs and Dick kiss passionately.

At KordTronics, Ted arrives, blowing off Oracle’s attempt to reach him, and rejects Quam Industries’ attempt to buy his company - leading the company to pursue assassination instead.

Dick wakes up in the Clocktower, getting no response from Babs, and walks into her control room to find a full array of surveillance on the Joker at the Slab, a prelude to the Last Laugh crossover.
