Synopsis for "Gotham Magic"
While out in the streets of Gotham, Black Canary runs into Nightwing in the middle of a fight and assists him. Nightwing asks her about Barbara, who has been avoiding his calls, and Dinah tenses up, thinking about her own falling out with her friend.
Dick takes the initiative and confronts Barbara himself to ask why she's been avoiding him. Meanwhile, Tom connects with his brother, Danko, who has been suffering from blackouts and memory loss, forgetting weeks of his life at a time.
Later, as he is watching a TV program about the Justice League of America, Danko starts to remember his past, as an apprentice to Felix Faust. He also remembers his vendetta against Barbara at Tom's mention of her.
As Dinah runs into Metomorpho, who wants to thank her for her help with his family (in Birds of Prey #52), she starts thinking about her own family - including Barbara and Oliver. She heads back to their base to find Felix Faust waiting...
