Synopsis for "Between Dark and Dawn, Part One"
Three teenagers dress like dead heroes and commit suicide. Barbara Gordon thinks these are murders, not suicides. She sends Huntress to Kinder Pines, Oregon. Huntress goes into a bait shop and when she reemerges from the shop, the local police are waiting for her, saying they suspect her car is stolen. Huntress determines that these are not real cops and she starts fighting them. Huntress is captured and taken to Second Heaven Redemptive Farm and Gardens. In the meantime, Gordon tells Black Canary that all three of the teens who committed suicide were once treated by or members of Second Heaven Redemptive Farm and Gardens. Gordon also tells Canary that she has someone inside the organization who can help Huntress when she arrives. The members of the organization believe Helena is a Ms. Crenshaw, a reporter for the Daily Planet. After a short time, Huntress gets into a scuffle with a guard and the other guards come running. Vixen reveals herself and Helena believes Vixen is about to help her, being the undercover "help" Gordon mentioned. Vixen grabs Helena by the neck and lifts her off the ground, seemingly under the control of the cult.
