Lois Lane was Bizarro's wife in the Inverse World and mother of Jon-El and Jordan-El.
History
When she was growing up, Lois had a very good relationship with her father General Sam Lane, who always made time for her no matter what. She eventually fell in love with and married the famous superhero Kal-El, which Sam advised against, telling her it would end badly.
Lois and Kal-El relocated to Smallville when they learned she was pregnant and they had two sons: Jonathan-El and Jordan-El. Lois loved them both, but due to the family's celebrity lifestyle she often wasn't there for them.
When the boys were fifteen, Jon revealed that he had inherited Kal-El's superpowers and became his father's sidekick, however he was still dissatisfied with his life and felt empty, eventually falling in with Ally Allston's cult. Lois and Kal-El tried to get him to break away from them, but he refused to listen, saying they had never been real parents to him and left home. Kal-El became obsessed with destroying Ally and started using Green Kryptonite to enhance his powers. His increasingly erratic behavior lead Lois to leave him, taking Jordan with her.
Lois went to Sam for help, but shortly after they arrived at the Department of Defense, Jon attacked the building accompanied by Lois' sister-in-law Lana-Rho, looking for the military's X-Kryptonite weapons. Lois told Jon she was sorry that she had failed him as a mother and begged him to come back to them, but Jon ignored her and simply told his family to disappear if they would not join Ally. Lois, Sam and Jordan took refuge in a hidden bunker, but Lois secretly maintained contact with her friend Chrissy Beppo.
Ally and her followers seized control of the government and Ally announced that there was another world where everyone had a counterpart, and that she was planning to merge the two worlds together. Kal-El, by now horribly deformed due to the heavy Kryptonite use, tracked them to the bunker. He apologised to them for prioritising his superheroics and fame over them and told them that he planned to steal the pedant Ally needed to complete her plan and take it to the other world where he believed it could be destroyed. Kal-El successfully took the pendant and then disappeared into the other world.
Months later, Lois was contacted by Chrissy, who told her that a man had crossed over from the other world and was hiding at a safe location they had previously agreed. This man, Mitchell Anderson, had the pendant and its counterpart from the other world. Lois and her family took him to hide out in the basement of the family's farm in Smallville. Although Anderson's speech was reversed, Lois realised that Kal-El was dead when Anderson broke down crying at the sight of their family photo.
Later, Jon returned to the farm (unaware that the others were there) with Kal-El's counterpart Superman. Jon believed that Superman knew where Anderson and the pendants were, and attacked Superman when he told him that he did not know. Lois and Anderson rushed upstairs and overpowered and tied up Jon, but unfortunately Ally and her counterpart tracked them to the farm, bringing Lana and Kal-El's brother Tal-Rho with them.
Superman and Anderson tried to fight Tal-Rho, Jon and Lana, but they were outnumbered and Jon managed to take the pendants and deliver them to the Allys. The Allys began to fuse together and gave the pendants to Jon, telling him to go to the other world and fuse with his counterpart. Jon left and crossed through the portal between worlds, but Tal-Rho had a change of heart and let Superman go to stop him.[1]
Despite Superman's best efforts on the other world, Ally gained the power she needed to merge the worlds together. As the worlds began to merge things and people began randomly teleporting between them and Lois switched places with her other self. Lois witnessed the counterparts to her family try to save the two worlds, and the closeness between them which her own family never had. Superman was able to undo the merge and Lois presumably returned home.[2]
