The Black Beauty was a female gangster who decided to rebel against a chauvanistic society by becoming the head of Fawcett City's criminal underworld.
History
She relied on her feminine wiles to thwart Captain Marvel's attempts to break up her crimes, playing on his chivalry and inability to attack a woman. Even when it was a vicious criminal like herself. Ultimately, Cap pretended to be in love with her and desire her hand in marriage, in order to get close enough and spray her with tear gas so he could round up her gang.
