Blackstarr is Rachel Berkowitz, a supervillain and enemy to Supergirl. Born in Poland, she was raised by Nazis and became a highly respected scientist. This allowed her to unlock cosmic secrets and develop incredible energy powers. In Post-Crisis continuity, Rachel Berkowitz becomes a member of General Rock's Suicide Squad. Blackstarr was created by Paul Kupperberg and Carmine Infantino, first appearing in Supergirl (Volume 2) #13. (1983)
