- The Super Race
- According to Andre and Blackhawk, the Deros are attired like ancient Aztecs, with some Egyptian and Congo culture thrown in as well. The Deros people are thought to have entirely perished in a series of underground dynamite / natural gas explosions.
- Menace From the Skies
- According to Professor Curtis, "All we know about X-1 is that physically it somewhat resembles the Earth!" Also, "X-1 happens to be whirling through space at a set rate of speed!"
- The U.S. Space Rocket is atomically powered, and uses the Perpetual Motion Principle, thus can theoretically never run out of fuel.
- The inhabitants of X-1 are English-speaking bald white men, wearing transparent helmets.
- Also featured in this issue of Blackhawk was: "Explosive Sport" (text story)
