- Freedom for many people is a long way off. As long as there are men who wish to be tyrants our job isn't finished. If we have helped bring peace and freedom to the world we can't quit when our task is only half done. Let's finish our job.

Blackhawk #107 is an issue of the series Blackhawk (Volume 1) with a cover date of December, 1956.
Synopsis for "The Winged Menace"
The six white members of the Blackhawk Squadron get impersonated by Communist spies, who thus are able to steal some experimental one-man helicopter-style "aerocycles." En route to East Germany, the spies run out of fuel, land, and radio in for ground troops and air cover. The genuine Blackhawk Squadron pursues the spies, and engages the MiGs in West German air space, destroying five. They then land, and duke it out with the spies. Before they can recover the aerocycles, a force of Red Army infantry, armored cars, and tanks arrives, and captures them. They apparently don't capture, destroy, or notice the nearby F-90Cs, parked in a clearing nearby.
The Reds refuel the aerocycles, but then are distracted by a report of an approaching U.S. ground force. At Blackhawk's signal, the team overpowers their skeleton force of guards, and take off in the aerocycles. They attack a column of Red tanks and improvise some unconventional tactics to destroy at least two of them. A large U.S. force soon arrives, and a number of Red soldiers are captured alive, and imprisoned at Olbendorfer Army Base.
