Trigger Craig is released after serving a six-year prison sentence, which resulted from his arrest by the Blackhawks. He's expecting a desk, in which he had hidden $5000 in stolen cash, but instead they come back with a ratty Persian Carpet. Trigger learns completely by accident that this is actually a magic flying carpet, and he immediately puts it to use in committing outlandish crimes, such as stealing an armored car, a cabin cruiser, and a railway mailcar , by ordering the flying carpet to raise and fly them away.

When the Blackhawks interfere, Craig mounts a bulletproof dome and machine-guns on the carpet and goes after them. Blackhawk jumps from his plane onto the carpet, but can't stop it. Blackie rescues the team again by grabbing a thread in the carpet and unraveling it.
