Synopsis for Detached Service Diary: "Chuck's Pet Monster"
Chuck's old science teacher Professor Trippe develops a teleportation machine but in the process he inadvertently contacts alien life, and it's hostile. A monstrous energy creature emerges from Trippe's machinery, and attacks midtown New York City. The Blackhawks swoop in to counterattack, but conventional weapons and tactics are useless. The monster teleports itself away from the scene of the battle, and returns to Trippe's laboratory. Chuck pores thru Trippes notes, finds a math error, and figures out how to send the energy creature back where it came from.
