Synopsis for "Command Is a Lonely Vigil"
Dr Reinhard Gehirn, special consultant to the Gestapo, reporting directly to Heinrich Himmler, working closely with Professor Hugo Merson, developed a low-frequency psychosis-inducing radio signal, to be received by a medallion, which would induce psychological insecurities into the medallion's wearer. Through some complicated trickery, German agents then arranged for Blackhawk to receive this medallion and to wear it. For the next few days, radio waves were transmitted to Blackhawk's nervous system, inducing nightmares and affecting his concentration.
Day 1: The Nazis attacked seven different sites simultaneously, drawing a split-up Blackhawk Squadron into action. Blackhawk personally flew over the open desert of Valna, towards the attack on Cebes, and was shot down, and hiked across the desert with the sun and Doctor Gehirn's evil signal both cooking his brain, and he hallucinated, while Gehirn now applied some specific programming to the signal, about spiders. Then the other six Blackhawks showed up and shot down Gehirn's high-altitude observation plane. Andre's round hit the plane's fuel supply and the career of Dr Reinhard Gehirn ended. Blackhawk was hospitalized.
