Synopsis for "A Long Ago Land"

Circa 1940-June-24 at the very earliest, Blackhawk flies solo to Zurich in pursuit of Der Morder, but bad weather forces them both to land in the Alps where they each find their way into an untouched city where no snow falls. Blackhawk meets Rafsu, a pacifistic mystic with telekinetic powers who claims to have lived there, himself, since Charlemagne's time, and in this valley, that's been a thousand years of perfect weather. Der Morder slips up and is captured by the locals, when he grabs a pretty hostage and Blackhawk rescues her. Der Morder escapes and is recaptured, and a mystical trial is held in which Der Morder is found to be without honor; at the end, he's in Blackhawk's custody as they hike down a mountain in Switzerland. // Meanwhile, elsewhere in Switzerland, Chop Chop is breaking up a meeting between Japanese arms dealers and an American arms exporter, Miss Baker; the Japanese have a giant robot, which Chop Chop disables with some skillfully-applied grenades. // Meanwhile, elsewhere in Europe, five Blackhawks are attacking Professor Merson's newly-located formerly-secret laboratory; Merson releases a cloud of bats, trained to home in on Grumman engine noise, and packing explosive vests. The planes are damaged, forcing them to land. To be continued.
