- The self-styled "Mars" in this story is no known relation to anybody else named Mars. Blackhawk calls him "the War Master."
- Brijal and Zonia have been at peace for 100 years, therefore they are not in Europe.
- Zonia has a President. Starting on page 6 of this 7-page story, "Brijal" starts to be called "Brojil."
- King of Blackhawk Island
- Blackhawk startles the bad guys with a projected slide of Killer Shark, whom he refers to as "Tiger Shark."
- The current version of Blackhawk Island contains a rich seam of coal, which is mined and used to generate electricity.
