    • Olaf gets shot down. This is his 3rd or 4th time for that.[1]
    • The Hawkmarine could be safely submerged or surfaced by remote control, from the Blackhawks' belt radios.
    • Kong is inside the prison camp when it blows up, but no caption or dialogue states his fate.
  • "The World Traitor" is set in Turkey, France, and Switzerland, nations that actually exist. For Blackhawk stories of this era, this is not normal.
    • The mad scientist Karl Ludski destroys the town of Vichye, France, to prove that his formula works.
    • Per panel 1 of page 7, Blackhawk weighs 200 pounds.
  • Kroger's Flying Cutlass warplane destroyed enemy aircraft by slicing them apart with its unique V-shaped wings. For that to work, it has to be much faster than enemy warplanes.
    • The Blackhawk Squadron openly invades Russian airspace and conducts operations there, in this story.
  • Also featured in this issue of Blackhawk was:
    • Blackhawk: "The Wild Jungle" (text story)
