Blaze src

Lady Blaze is the demonic daughter of Wizard Shazam and twin sibling to Satanus who schemes to rise through the ranks of Hell and gain control over the Rock of Eternity. She eventually ascended to becoming a ruler of Hell, deposing both Neron and her brother.

Blaze has been working behind the scenes for a long time and was involved in the creation of Superman villains Silver Banshee and Skyhook. She disguises herself as Metropolis nightclub owner Angelica Blaze to steal souls.[2] Superman follows her to Hell to fight for the souls of Jimmy Olsen and Perry White's son Jerry. Superman manages to save Jimmy Olsen, but Blaze succeeds in taking Jerry White's life.[3]

Blaze/Satanus war

To regain power on Earth, the demon Blaze manipulates former Daily Planet employee Sam Foswell, convincing him he has a guardian angel after being saved from a suicide attempt and securing a job at Newstime Magazine. Using Newstime as a primary portal, Blaze launches a full-scale assault. However, Satanus intervenes by sealing the Newstime building off from reality to thwart Blaze's plan. Intent on breaking the gateway, Satanus attempts to kill Foswell, but Blaze transforms Foswell into a powerful demon. As Satanus's barrier weakens, he transports the entire Newstime building to Blaze's realm, where Superman ultimately defeats Blaze.[4][5][6]

Tullus

Later one of Blaze's oldest servant, Tullus (an ancient McDougal ancestor), broke free from her realm and resurrected the Silver Banshee to help protect him from Blaze until his powers come back at full power, Tullus and Banshee recruited Superman and allerted him about the crusade against Blaze, in the meantime Tullus would stay at the Castle McDougal to regain all of his powers. Blaze started to unleash darkness and nightmares into the world, this made everyone angrier and more violent, crimes started raising drammatically, Superman started acting more violent and Batman become clumsier, soon Tullus regained all of his powers and alongside Banshee and Superman they started attacking Blaze's realm, seemingly killing her. Now with Tullus in power, Blaze secretly hid in Kirk Langstrom body and lured Batman to her, Blaze offered Batman her help in exchange for his body as a temporary host, Batman accepted and thanks to Banshee sacrifice, Superman was able to snap from Tullus's brainwashing. Superman then rescued Batman from the Demonic possession and he threw both Blaze and Tullus in the pits of Hell, where the two would fight, ending up with Blaze winning and enslaving Tullus.[7]

Blaze later appeared in Fawcett City where she took a new mortal guise as a mob boss.[8] Her plans for the city (and the Rock of Eternity connected to it) were foiled by Captain Marvel and the Marvel Family. It was also revealed that she and Satanus were only half-demons, their father being the wizard Shazam, and that it was Blaze who corrupted Black Adam.[9]

Reign in Hell

Blaze is seen to be going along with a revolution staged by her brother Satanus against the lord of hell Neron.
