Blitzkrieg was a war comic that told stories of the Nazi occupation, featuring tales of the resistance, the civilians in occupied lands, and the oppressive Nazi soldiers.
Unlike the "Enemy Ace" stories featuring Hans von Hammer in World War I, this series kept an unambigously negative view of the German military of World War II.
The first two issues had a backup feature titled "The Huns", starring Attila the Hun ("Hun" was a common slur for Germans during both World Wars). Most issues ended with a two-page "Battle Album" spotlighting various German military vehicles.
