Synopsis for "Things Fall Apart"

Brickhouse and Third Rail leave the Blood Syndicate, having lost faith after recent events. Flashback sees their leave, but decides not to interfere.

Agent Rose fully turns against Mother's faction of S.Y.S.T.E.M. in order to free one of the seven captive subjects, wounding several operatives in the process, including Mother herself and Agent Scar. Further complicating the situation, Mother's operations are under questioning from other factions of S.Y.S.T.E.M. due to worries about costs and risks.

When the dust settles, several S.Y.S.T.E.M.atics have been exposed to what may be Quantum Juice gas from the experiments. Agent Rose himself is wounded and appears to have fallen unconscious. Mother realizes that there is no choice but to activate an evacuation protocol, which she calls "code blue".

In the Factory, the Blood Syndicate is divided in reaction to the departure of Third Rail and Brickhouse. Most members blame Wise Son, who does not admit responsibility. Fade interrupts the heavy discussion to warn that he feels some sort of significant danger approaching.

Garden Station has been so heavily damaged that most of the captive subjects are freed and recover consciousness. Karess, Masquerade, Oro, Babe, Bubbasaur and the so far unnamed young woman that Agent Rose wanted to free, and who appears to have some form of healing power are all conscious or recovering among the Station's ruins.
