Blood Syndicate #25 is an issue of the series Blood Syndicate (Volume 1) with a cover date of April, 1995.

Synopsis for "Unnatural Conclusions"

Fade's prediction of imminent danger seems to have been a fluke. Kwai leaves the Blood Syndicate for reasons of her own, and asks Fade to allow Pearl to continue living in the Factory. She also leaves what appears to be a large piece decorative jewelry in Flashback's room for her to find.

Garden Station is under Code Blue protocol under Mother's orders. Tensions and fears are both high. All seven captive "bang babies" have escaped their container tubes and show a variety of mental states, with Templo particularly incensed and Karess nearly catatonic with fear.

Karess recovers some of her composure and seems to be controlling some sort of dark energy that almost appears solid. The young woman decides that they should bring the still unconscious Agent Rose with them if they succeed at fleeling Garden Station, and her case is made significantly stronger when she shows the ability to briefly shapechange into a far more aggressive form with inhuman features, thereby apparently gaining the strength to carry Rose by herself.

The seven captives pool their abilities in order to escape, making Oro realize that his powers are significantly enhanced. In fact, all of the fleeing captives seem to have had their powers enhanced. Despite significant opposition from S.Y.S.T.E.M.atics, the groups succeeds at escaping to the freezer, where Mother and Smart attempt to stop them by activating the pain failsafe implants. They succeed at first, but a furious Templo forcefully removes the implants in what might almost be described as a spasm of telekinetic rage.

Mother attempts to tease "the child" into letting go of Agent Rose, but her callousness backfires spectacularly as the now furious subject instinctively shapeshifts into her more aggressive form and apparently transfers Rose's terminal cancer into Mother.

The shocked group of escapees resumes their flight. Babe suggests that they might remain together somehow, but the others are unwilling.

Masquerade is the first to leave impatiently, although he soon reconsiders and attempts - too late - to reconnect with the other escapees. Karess asks for Oro to please carry her home. Masquerade considers his options, with no clear conclusion.

Meanwhile, in the Factory, a wounded Tech-9 somehow appears and asks for Fade's help.
