Synopsis for "Ask the Right Question"
Vic Sage looked over a confidential file regarding Blue Beetle before Lou Crocker told him to work on a story about a kid gang. As the Question, Vic decided to investigate the Blue Beetle. As the Wild Ones fled from the police, the Blue Beetle chased them in his Bug before being hit by a bazooka blast, allowing them to escape him. In his mansion, Vincent Perignon learned that the Wild Ones had hit them for the third time that week. He assigned his son Richard to find out why the Wild Ones were making moves against them.
Vic visited Rodent at a coffee shop for information about the Wild Ones and learned that they would be meeting at midnight with their organizer. Blue Beetle landed his Bug in his fortress and contemplated his encounter with the Wild Ones, as he changed into Ted Kord. Captain Hernandez briefed his fellow police officers on rival gangs suddenly working together under a mysterious "guardian angel" and ordered Fisher to investigate him.
Ted stared out the window of Kord Industries when Melody walked in and he talked to her about running the company after his late father. Before Ted walked away from her to become Blue Beetle again, Melody wondered what had changed him after his Uncle Jarvis and mentor Dan had both died. Blue Beetle continued his search for the Wild Ones and grabbed a man before threatening to drop him from the sky. In a neighborhood on the edge of Chicago, Vic Sage became the Question and was ambushed while waiting for the meeting between the gangs. As the Question fought the gangs, he was joined by the Blue Beetle. Then, the two worked together to defeat a criminal named Slab. "The Big M" fired a rocket at the two heroes and the gangs scattered. As Blue Beetle and the Question formed an alliance against the gangs, "the Big M", the Muse, watched them, as he held a rocket launcher in his hand.
