Blue Beetle (Volume 6) #6 is an issue of the series Blue Beetle (Volume 6) with a cover date of November, 1986.

Synopsis for "Face-Off"

In the cockpit of the Bug, the Question showed Blue Beetle a note dropped by one of the Wild Ones and the latter analyzed it before they decided to meet again in a few hours. The Question jumped out of the Bug unharmed and went to his job as Vic Sage. Richie Perignon returned to his father and claimed that nobody knew who was turning the gangs against him. Vincent ordered Richie to find the "guardian angel."

Blue Beetle became Ted Kord and visited Murray and Curt who were talking about the promethium project. Lt. Fisher visited a group of thugs called the Deltoids and pointed his gun at them when one threatened him. On Pago Island, as Carapax continued his search, the tunnel collapsed, trapping him, although he still planned to continue. At WWB-TV, Vic Sage was researching the kid gang story that was assigned to him before deciding to finish as the Question.

Ted Kord ordered Angela to go home, as she hid a stolen piece of Kord machinery to take to her uncle. Mel greeted Ted before he dabbled with her computers and printed a paper, then ran off. The gangs gathered at an abandoned theater called the Place briefly fighting before their "guardian angel" introduced himself as the Muse, who proposed uniting their gangs into one army in order to control the city. The gangs agreed to join the Muse while Blue Beetle, who was watching, fell off of a ledge in front of them. He fought the gangs before the Question joined him, although they were both subdued before the Muse aimed a gun at them.
