Synopsis for "Endgame!"
In a hidden lab owned by Kord Industries, Teri Magnus and Tina Sung are readying a Cosmic Treadmill that, powered by the Blue Beetle Scarab's, should allow them to return to the 30th Century and rejoin the Justice League to fight the galactic tyrant Lady Styx. Jaime pumps the Scarab's power into the Treadmill, but something goes awry, and Jaime and Teri are thrown in the future.
They arrive at Paradise Island just a second after Teri was zapped into the past.[1] Blue Beetle and Flash join the ongoing battle between the Justice League and the Legion of Death. Flash runs over several enemies, frees Supergirl from Saturn Girl's mind control and then confronts her twin brother Eclipso. In the meantime, Blue Beetle tries to convince Wonder Woman that he's his ally before she tears him apart.
Supergirl blasts several enemies and commands Green Lantern to start up the space portal and open a transversal gate to send the Legion away. Supergirl and Green Latern proceed to take down and push into the gate as many Legionnaires as possible while Blue Beetle and Wonder Woman are attacked by three more enemies. The Scarab emits a pulse that take them out, and Kara dumps them into the gate.
Eclipso is hurting Flash but he is taken down and neutralized by Green Lantern. Teri takes advantage of it to explain that Blue Beetle is a friend to Wonder Woman.
Halfway across the galaxy, the Legion of Death have landed on the planet Nirvana. Supergirl hopes it's far enough away that Styx's mind-control wears off. She suspects they were brainwashed, and maybe one day they'll become allies.
Teri introduces Jaime to her friends. Then she gets upset because Tina is still stuck into the past, Jaime is now trapped in the future, and Styx still controls the Commonwealth. Supergirl reassures her that they'll win.
All of sudden, Teri and Jaime are whisked off to planet Naltor. Lady Styx has teleported them in her lair and nullified their powers and technology. Then she reveals she's older than the universe and claims that twelve years from his perspective, Jaime will join her and become her greatest ally. She also reveals back in the 21st century, Jaime knows her as Amparo Cardenas. Brenda isn't actually her niece. Styx killed her father to take her under her wing and manipulate her.
Styx tells the past and future will soon collide and the Scarab is the key to take control of time itself. Then she sends them back to the 21st century.
Jaime and Teri rematerialize in the Kord's lab, twenty minutes after their disappearance. Jaime heads off to meet up with Naomi, and Teri suspects Lady Styx played with his head and Jaime probably doesn't remember anything about their trip.
Meanwhile, Amparo Cardenas has a bit of fun with Brenda. Amparo pretends to love her, but she gave up human emotions several eons ago.
