Bob Masters was a brash young enlisted military man who served in the U.S. Marines. He frequently teamed up with his shipmate Swab Decker, of the U.S. Navy, as "Bob and Swab."
History
Throughout the Second World War, Bob and Swab despised each other, and bickered constantly, often resorting to fisticuffs, yet one was seldom seen without the other nearby. They saved each other's lives many times, too.
Bob and Swab spent most of World War II serving aboard the USS Scarab, a battleship, which docked at a wide variety of ports of call.
