Bobo was a circus clown in Colonel Lane's Mammoth Circus.

When the circus was low on funds, the performers posed as the Super Friends, with Bobo impersonated Aquaman. When the Super Friends discovered the act, they agreed to help with the show, with Bobo being partnered with his doppleganger.[1]
