Bobo T. Chimpanzee, formerly Detective Chimp, was a detective, now a survivor in a dying Multiverse.
History
Detective Chimp's history presumably paralleled that of his Prime Earth counterpart during the events of the Dark Multiverse's first invasion until the Justice League fell to a trap sprung by Barbatos. Chimp, alongside Red Tornado, Dick Grayson, Barry Allen, Carter Hall, and Kendra Saunders became a survivor on the ruins of Earth 0, called Earth-Metal, while Barbatos ravaged reality. For some reason, Chimp needed to wear Red Tornado like a suit.
When existence was in its final death throes, Dick brought back Duke Thomas while on a supply run. Duke proposed that they use their combined might to kill the Dragons of the Bat, something that brought uproarious laughter from all the survivors except Dick, who helped convince the others to at least try to kill the Dragons and Barbatos, seeing as they had nothing left to do. The survivors became the new Justice League and set off on their suicide mission.
To get aerial transportation, they fought the Batman Who Laughs to get the Joker, who had been turned into a Joker Dragon. Despite the One Who Laughs using Zatanna's mummified hand to magically defeat the League, including Chimp, he was incinerated by a freed Joker, who agreed to their plan.
On their final assault, Chimp and Red Tornado took on Wonder Woman, who had been turned into a gorgon. The two used the Lasso of Truth as they were being petrified to force Diana to petrify herself as well. Tornado then detonated, killing all three of them.[1]
