Detective Chimp is an intelligent chimpanzee detective who has worked with Batman on multiple occasions.

History

Granted human-level intelligence, circus chimp Bobo now works as a private detective. His investigative prowess, as well as his simian strength and agility, have served to help the Earth's superhuman heroes several times, particularly on cases involving his fellow animals.

It is an adaptation of Detective Chimp. The original character was created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino and first appeared in Adventures of Rex the Wonder Dog #4.
