Bolvania was the site of the Blackhawk Squadron's fatal defeat of Tigra and her pirate submarine crew.
History
Bolvania was a city-state in the tropical part of the Pacific Ocean, with a history of strife and violence dating back centuries. In 1948 a revolt broke out, and the Prime Minister, Vulcan Bednar, called in his old friends the Blackhawks to restore order. The well-armed rebel forces were mostly foreign mercenaries, unscrupulous adventurers, and native traitors, including the Minister of Defense, Mr. Snarl, who ran a ring of spies. They had gained control of the country's strategic locations and were besieging the capital city. All of this was put into motion from behind the scenes by a pirate submariner calling herself Tigra.
After a series of struggles, the Blackhawks dropped depth charges onto Tigra's submerged vessel, destroying it, her, and her crew.
