The Bone Crown is a magical artifact once used by Admiral Drogue.

History

Fleet admiral Drogue once wielded a royal piece around his neck which afforded him telepathic communion with the creatures native to his home planet.[1]

By wearing it, the crown would enable its handler the focusing of their godly power towards commanding the various xenofauna of said world to act on his/her behalf. Bending such creatures like the Space Kraken's torrential proclivities to ones will.[1]

Whenever the admiral would employ their transgenic waters towards subsuming whole galaxies to his will, Drogue's chaplet would work in controlling the creatures by proxy as well.[2]

But even with this symbol of authority, the wreath could not completely dominate the feral nature of the much deadlier counterpart of a typical Flood beast known as the Death Kraken.[3] They'd become too rabidly destructive due to stewing in the necrotic bile and toxicity of their nesting ground, thus making them near impossible to control.[4]
